Dr. Robert Tall, Organist Dr.
Robert Tall has devoted most of his life to
music. Advanced studies at the
University of Utah culminated in 1967 with a
Doctor of Philosophy degree in Music and
Psychology. His latest CD "Masterpieces"
contains organ masterworks as well as music
for the modern organ. |

Sunday Concert As a beginning to
Holy Week, the Chancel Choir and the Chamber
Singers will present Theodore Dubois'
"Seven Last Words." This moving
work will begin this Holy Week of thought
and prayer. |

Standard Time Vocal Jazz
Ensemble Pacific
Standard Time, directed by
Christine Guter, is the top Vocal
Jazz Ensemble at CSULB.
It is a highly select 12 member
ensemble, requiring excellent
musicianship, singing and
improvisational skills. The
group has a very active schedule,
and performs at jazz festival,
education conferences, and many
other public and private events.
Their level of musicianship and
outstanding quality of performance
attracts the attention of
professional jazz educators,
students and enthusiasts of all
ages. This brings the
university international recognition
and draws students from all over the
country to receive their education
at Cal State Long Beach. |
